Program Description
The Robert Treat Academy Charter School will be characterized by its total commitment to high academic achievement, socially acceptable behavior and a recognition that all individuals are created equal and must be given equal educational opportunity. The program will encompass seven hours a day and extend for eleven months. Building upon the Core Curriculum Content Standards, the instructional program will be structured with emphasis on reading, writing and speaking in all content and special areas. Computer-assisted instruction will be a hallmark of the program with students having access to computer terminals at school and (when resources permit) at home.
