Program Description
The vision of North Star Academy Charter School of Newark is to start a small, dynamic, path-breaking charter school. The school will: build a community working together; apply rigorous academics with a curriculum that will be based on New Jersey’s Core Curriculum Content Standards and prepares students to succeed in high school, college, and beyond; have long-range goals for urban children; demonstrate innovative teaching strategies; have more schooling and more learning by extending academic hours and have an 11-month school year (September through July); implement structured, caring discipline; utilize an open admissions lottery; and encourage strong parent involvement.

HI I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE SOME INFORMATION . I WANT TO ENROLL MY 9 YEAR OLD AND MY 4 YEAR OLD..
Hi, I am interested in knowing if you have an unexpected opening for a seventh grader. My daughter’s name was submitted in the lottery this year, however, she was not chosen. I was told that if for some reason a student who was chosen does not show or withdraws, my daughter may be elegilble to feel that spot. M;y phone number is 973-991-2594.
