Program Description
The overall mission of the Lady Liberty Academy Charter School is to offer true equality of opportunity by providing every child with a first-rate elementary education that will develop his/her human potential by creating intellectual challenges. Some of the underlying beliefs of the charter school are: academic success is in the reach of all students; collaboration and involvement among staff, students and parents is critical to learning success; and a school community must work to build a culture that respects, promotes and enhances the gifts of a diverse and multicultural society.
Mission
The Lady Liberty Academy faculty is dedicated to a mission that calls on teachers to grow and empower students to create and fulfill their dreams:
“To have all children be active learners who participate in constructing knowledge and understanding; and provide them with the necessary resources and learning opportunities so they can transform their thoughts into concrete tools that can be used to shape and control their environment.”
